Long loved by poultry enthusiasts the Rhode Island Red chicken has held its spot as the classic brown egg producer for decades. It’s hardy genetics and gentle yet commanding personality makes it a favorite of many. These Rhode Island Red chicks will become prolific egg layers beginning at about 16-20 weeks (depending on enviroment, feed, etc.) You can expect well over 300 eggs per year from these girls.

Since we are a small hatchery, we have chosen Tuesday to be our "hatch day". All orders will be fulfilled on Tuesday of the week you have selected at checkout.
